CYCA - Calgary Youth Curling Association The Calgary Youth Curling Association is a volunteer not-for-profit society created to provide the infrastructure and means to give Calgary and area youth the chance to learn and participate in the sport of curling. The association aims to attract youth to the sport by developing, organizing, and facilitating youth curling activities and programs in the Calgary area. The Calgary Youth Curling Association gives youth the opportunity to play an organized sport in a safe environment that promotes sportsmanship and helps begin a journey that can be enjoyed for a lifetime. Several key and integral groups are involved in coordinating and supporting the association, including curling clubs, schools, volunteers, coaches, instructors and the CYCA Curling Coordinator and the volunteer-run board of directors. The Calgary Youth Curling Association uses the Connect and Curl platform as a resource for current and prospective Sunday League players to find teammates. Contact curl@cyca.ca and sundayleague@cyca.ca if you have any questions relating to this platform or would like personal assistance in finding teammates.

Sandra Schmirler Foundation
The Sandra Schmirler Foundation is a registered charity established in honour of Sandra’s lasting legacy as a loving mother and the skip of Canada's first Olympic gold medal curling team. Recognizing that all "Champions Start Small", the Foundation has raised millions of dollars for the purchase of life-saving equipment for newborn intensive care units (NICUs) in 48 different hospitals in every province, the Yukon and Northwest Territories. Our donors are helping save the lives of thousands of babies born premature and critically ill, across Canada.

Kurling for Kids
Kurling for Kids is a registered charity dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families at children’s hospitals. We strive to raise funds to allow hospitals to provide leading edge medical treatments, programs and equipment for our children, which would otherwise be out of reach with current budgets. Kurling for Kids was founded by Robert Sears in 1999 as a way to give back to the hospital that saved his 2-year old daughter's life. It started as a yearly tournament dedicated to raising funds to help children and parents going through the same challenges he and his family had faced. Since then, it has become one of the most highly recognized charities by the hospital foundations. What makes Kurling for Kids unique is that it is entirely volunteer driven. There are no salaries are taken which means more of your donations go to the hospitals. Since 1999, Kurling for Kids has raised over an impressive $4 million dollars for hospital foundations. "K4K" is based out of Montreal, QC and funds raised were initially for the two local hospitals, Ste Justine and Montreal Children's. In more recent years, we have expanded our reach to other areas of Quebec, and into eastern Ontario (CHEO, Sick Kids), and we are now expanding across Canada. If you wish to find out more information on how you can help in your area, please contact us at info@kurlingforkids.org. "We cannot heal a sick child by taking their place... but by giving, we can help them grow up healthy."
